German Solingen K98 Parade Bayonet (Robert Klauss-Kissing Crane)

 Large Solingen dress bayonette with sheath. Overall--14 1/2", Blade 9 3/4" .

Plated, unsharpened edge blade with black checkered bakelite handles. Attatchment button moves freely. Leather washer at hilt is good.

Definitely has some issues: plating scratches on blade along bottom edge and tip (both sides) and around maker's mark. Plating loss on guard and butt. See pics.  Handle on one side has cracked off at one time and been glued back on (5 pieces). Blade is loose (but secure) in handle as rivet heads on cracked side of handle have been ground off.

Repainted sheath has several dents and dings and knife fits very snug in it.
