Listing my 7mm Allen Magnum built by Kirby Allen from Allen Precision Shooting.

The 7mm Allen Magnum was the first APS wildcat to step away from the Remington Ultra Magnum parent case in favor of a slightly shorter and fatter design based on the 338 Lapua Magnum parent case.  The reasons for this change was for the slightly larger case capacity but mainly due to the dramatically increased strength of the Lapua case allowing it to handle pressures far exceeding anything the RUM case can service and do so with long brass life with top loads.

I have a load that is verified to 1 mile, pushing the 195gr Bergers upto 3350fps. This is on the conservative side and will result in 8-10 loads per brass.

Extreme ballistic and terminal performance with limited recoil. I have ~80 shots down the barrel.

Extremely well built rifle by one of the best wildcatters in North America.

The build consists of:

- McMillan Game Warden Adjustable Stock

- 27” Bartlein Carbon Barrel w/ 1:8.7 Twist

- Sunny Hill Bottom Metal

~90 Fireformed Pieces of Lapua Brass w/ AZTEC Coding for Annealing with the AMP unit
