TOZ-17 Russian (Tula) 22lr (Early model) **ON HOLD**

**TOP ONE IS SOLD** - TOZ-17 22lr (Early Version) in overall excellent condition for it's age with only a few minor marks on the stock. It has a 5 round detachable magazine and is numbers matching. The bottom one has a factory "dovetail receiver" to mount a scope. Please see pictures as part of the description. 

It has a similar appearance, sights and functions as the Mosin–Nagant rifle. Designed in 1956 it was used as a training rifle for the Russian military and built at the Tula factory. 

The design reflects Soviet tradition, as it is very simple to use yet strong and functional. The rifle is very well built, reliable and accurate. It features twin extractors on the bolt which makes case ejection very positive. The bolt is considered large compared with most rimfire designs, paired with a large firing pin and spring assembly. Also, it has a free floating barrel for increased accuracy.

TOP - Slightly earlier version (3 digit serial number) without the dovetail receiver has small numbers engraved on the side of the magazine well and has the rear sight marked to 250 meters.. **SOLD**
