The rifle is matching except for the bolt. Bore is very good. No corrosion anywhere. Chambered in 8mm Lebel. Manufactured in St. Etienne.
Any concerns regarding the 'N' conversion are unnecessary unless you plan on shooting original Balle 'N' machine gun ammo, which will not chamber.
Balle 'N' ammo had a thicker neck for the higher MG pressures; some oversized chambers might chamber a Balle 'N' even if not marked.
There is a YouTube video that goes though the history of the 8mm Lebel round, very informative if you haven’t seen it.
PPU brass is OK to shoot in non-marked N rifles. It has as the thinner brass in neck area. I use PPU brass for reloading.
