The Siamese Mauser was developed after the Siamese were impressed by the 8x50mmR Mannlicher cartridge. 

The Siamese Mauser was rechambered for the 8x52R cartridge, which is slightly longer than the original cartridge. 

1938 Mosin Russian 7.62 This is a M91/30 Mosin Nagant, round receiver in a pre-war stock. The rifle was made by Sergei Klishenko on October 19, 1938 at the Izhevsk factory.
