The stock was varnished at some point. The wood on forearm and butt stock is very good with just some minor bangs from use. Original curved steel recoil butt plate is in place.

Rifle was just purchased 2 months ago.  Too pretty to shoot for me. 

30-30 winchester Buffalo Bill  with 26 inches long octogun barrel. I was told unfire. It is possible that there is some fine scratch on the wood and on the metal.

Ruger made 1894 marlin. Put 1 box of 44 mag through it, not my thing unfortunately.
