This is a very nice antique status Smith & Wesson Top Break Number 3 New Model Double Action.

It is in .44 S&W Russian caliber and has a 4" barrel...a nice compact piece.

First introduced in 1861 and made until about 1874, the Smith & Wesson no.2 was a popular personal side arm for many union officers. The no. 2 was owned by numerous famous Americans like Wild Bill Hickok and General George Armstrong.

Nice little copy of the Smith and Wesson model 1 1/2. 32 rimfire. Bore has normal pitting but rifling still present. Action is tight and crisp and functions as it should. All numbers match. Solid little gun.
