This is a Long Lee MKI* built by BSA in 1901. Metal covered by brown patina. No live rust or heavy pitting. Forend has a large repaired crack. Cartouche on butt is clear. Regiment stamping on buttplate tang. Matching serial numbers except bolt.

Here is an Enfield Long Lee rifle built in 1896 by LSA. Metal parts in good condition, no major rust or pitting except some surface pitting close to muzzle end. Mag cut off, volley sights are all present. Serial numbers matching except bolt.
