This shotgun breaks great, locks up solid, and shoots well too.
However, there is an extraction issue.  
The extractor sometimes slips past the spent hull upon extraction.

Remington 783 chambered in .270 win. My wife won it at a Ducks Unlimited event. We put the scope on it and took it to the range. It kicked too hard for her.

I have two Remington 597s collecting dust in my safe. One with iron sights and one with no sights.

Fine functioning firearm,  rifling still crisp, nice trigger, breaks clean and quite light.

For sale is a Remington 700 Mountain chambered in 30-06. The gun features a 21 inch magna ported barrel, and a walnut rubbed linseed oil finished stock with ebony forend and grip cap.

I am looking to sell my trusty Remington 783. 22” barrel, Synthetic stock. I have Weaver Picatinny rail with a Vortex A/R 3x9 scope mounted on it.
