Why use screws on polymer parts?

Last week, a customer inquired if I could create a side cover to accompany the BorealRush charging handle. Upon reviewing the existing designs, I noticed they were based on the factory’s metal version, which, due to the multiple screw holes and expansion lips, could be prone to breakage and somewhat challenging to install. With that in mind, I developed an all-new friction-fit version to address these concerns!

This side cover is made from carbon fiber-infused polymer, offering strength and durability. It’s tough enough to be hammered onto your receiver—no screws needed. And don’t worry, I’ve included a tool to help you get the job done cleanly and easily. All you need is a rubber hammer.

The part is precision-engineered for a secure fit and designed to blend perfectly with the rifle's aesthetics. Step-to-step instruction included.
