This is a factory engraved National Arms Co. Single Shot No.2 Deringer. National Arms Co. produced these from 1865-1870. In 1870 they were purchased by Colt who continued to make their own versions of this firearm. This is a .41 rimfire with a 2-1/2” twist barrel on a brass frame with a spur trigger. The barrel address is faint but still visible. The walnut grips show a fair bit of wear and have a crack in the left side. Mechanically the hammer spring is strong and still seems to function. This scarce single shot pistol would make a great addition to any Deringer collection. This is an antique so no PAL is required for purchase. Buyer must be 18 and able to prove it. Shipping is available at buyers expense. All used firearms should be inspected by a competent gunsmith prior to any form of use.
