M1 Carbine with M3 night-vision sniper scope

Inland M1 Carbine comes with 3 mags, sling and Oiler.

U.S. Sniperscope Infrared Set No. 1, 20,000 Volts, 1951.  

The scope nomenclature plate doesn't match with the box plate.  

LENSE APPEARS INTACT,  but the Infrared lens film crack due to period (?) 

Previous owner advised never try it and the same case as me.  Believe 99% not in working condition.

The Scope and the M1 Carbine sell as a package and won’t sell separately.
