Lee Enfield Long Branch No 4 Mk1 303 British 1943 - Full Wood

Made in Canada - Beautiful condition example - There are few guns that capture the imagination like

this one from World War II. This one is very nice a 9/10 for sure.

All parts are matching and even the nose cap band has the LB stamp. Also comes with Canadian Marked C broad arrow original sling.

The British had little choice when it came to where they got their guns and Canadian

machinery began to make the quintessential weapon of the Empire in great number.

At Long Branch Toronto during World War Two, workers manufactured over 900,000

thousand Lee Enfield 303 rifles and 100,000 Sten submachine guns.

Sadly, only the two-story red brick Small Arms Inspection Building building and a

water tower remain.

But between 1941 and 1945, the men and women who worked in the 212,000

square foot plant helped change the war's outcome.

*I also have spike Bayonet if needed add $75.
