Good day,
I'm looking for a Yugoslavian M59/66 that has been modified to accept a scope with either a M76 rail allowing it to mount an ON-M76, ON-M89 and a PN 5x80 among others, or a proprietary mounting system bearing resemblance to the Soviet PU Mosin, but mirrored with the knob towards the front and the indexing surface at the rear, these typically mounted an ON-2 scope.
These rifles were either converted into this "sniper" configuration before the breakup of Yugoslavia or by individuals during the war because of a lack of scoped weapon systems.
Authenticating examples is pretty much impossible, due to the lack of information on the internet. All I could find was a few photos. Given this, I would be willing to accept a fabricated example if the conversion was done properly and if the price is right.
Please reach out, thank you.
First 3 pictures are of the proprietary mount with an ON-2 optic, the last three are of the M76 rail.
