 Hello,

Up for sale is a Superb example of an all-matching and matched set of No 4 Mk 1 (T) Sniper Rifle, No 32 Mk 3 Scope, Mounting Bracket, Scope Case and Transit Chest. You simply will not find a finer example of the Birmingham Small Arms (BSA - M47C code) Lee Enfield No 4 (T) Sniper Rifle, let alone the complete, matching set.

All Visible numbers match including those on the Scope Pouch. The rifle features a blade front sight with ears and ramp, and an adjustable, milled Rear Sight with the Battle Sight removed. The right side of the Receiver bears an "S" stamped on the small flat, and the left side of the Receiver bears the letter "T" with Serifs, denoting completed conversion to a Telescopic Rifle. The rifle's Receiver is drilled and tapped on left side and the Scope Mount bears the Rifle's Serial Number.

The Telescope No 32 Mk 3 is marked "NO24943" with red W (Waterproof) and blue B (Bloomed) "markings intact. The optics are crystal clear with a single post reticle with fine horizontal line. The scope functions 100% and comes complete with the original brown leather Scope Caps. The Scope was recently refurbished by Warren Wheatfield, the acknowledged Canadian subject matter expert in the field of period optical restorations.

The rifle features four-piece, full military wood furniture, with the pistol grip stamped S51 denoting conversion to "T" status by "Holland and Holland", the renowned British custom rifle maker. The top Wrist of the Stock is stamped with the Scope serial number, and the Buttstock features a wooden Cheek Rest with blued flat headed screws. This BSA rifle is fitted with an alloy Butt Plate with trap and includes a MKII brass oiler bottle and unknown pull thru and brush.

The Scope Case is absolutely pristine and bears the matching Serial Numbers of both the Rifle and the No 32 Mk 3 Scope.

The wood Transit Chest has leather handles which show some wear but are still strong and serviceable. The Chest itself is immaculate - in the best condition that I have ever seen for an authentic No 4 (T) Transit Chest.

Taken all together, the Rifle, Scope and Mount, Scope Case and Transit Chest are a stunning, Museum-grade example of the genre. A full 9/10, you won't find nicer British No 4 (T) set for sale in Canada at the present time. The asking price is $10,500 (firm) Plus the full Shipping cost.

The only trades considered will be modern Military Sniper Rifles (AI AW/AWP, Rem M40A3, M40A5, Sako TRG M10, etc)
