Selling a very nice DWM Oberndorf Brazilian contract Mod. 1908 in 7mm. Rifle is all matching, including the stock and in excellent condition. Stock cartouches in excellent condition, including the Brazilian flag cartouche. Brazilian crest is crisp and in excellent shape.
Bolt is turned down and matches the rifle. Missing cleaning rod, although original replacements are easy to come by. Bore is excellent.
According to Jon Speed's 'Mauser Archives', this rifle was part of DWM Oberndorf's batch of 100k rifles sent to Brazil between 1913-1914. This rifle in the Mm block would have been near the end of the contract -- before Germany became suddenly preoccupied with something else in 1914. Attached a copy of the original invoice below.
