BSA 1944 No. 4 Mk. I (T) Lee Enfield rifle made at Shirley, England. Complete with matching scope, bracket, scope case and transit case. Mirror bore, no damage to crown. It is in excellent condition and has not been disassembled or messed with. The sheen is is the from the light mineral oil I wipe it down with for storage. The wartime code was "M47C". Holland & Holland, which did most of the British sniper conversions, had the wartime code "S51". Rifle serial number from the stock socket was marked on left side of the telescope bracket. The telescope serial number engraved on top of telescope was stamped into the top of the butt, just below the cocking piece. The scope is clear and fully functional. It was overhauled by Warren Wheatfield; the expert in this field. Completed sniper rifle conversions almost always have a "T" stamped into the left sidewall of the receiver after the model designation. This was standard by 1944 for BSA conversions. Scope case strap and scope lens caps are original. The pattern 1907 sling is a Boyt replica. I have many more photos available. Asking $13 500.- shipped. I am open to negotiation. Not interested in straight trades but will consider cash/trade combinations.
Zee fyna printa. "I'll take it!" trumps negotiation; although you will be extended the right of first refusal. Payment via EMT within 24 hours of a firm agreement. I provide good detailed photos and accurate descriptions; requests for photos and more information will be fulfilled. That being said, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If the post is up, it's available unless otherwise indicated. Tomfoolery and nonsense will be treated and receive feedback appropriately.
