The US M1 30 Garand battle rifle is one of the most prolific rifles of WWII, Korean War and beyond. This semi-auto rifle holds 8 rounds in an enbloc clip and the satisfying "ping" when the clip is ejected cannot be described with words.
This particular rifle, chambered in its original .30-06 cartridge, wears all USGI parts (Springfield) mated to a forged Italian Breda receiver (FKF Danish Contract).
The wood stock is original so it wears some minor dings and battle scars, the metal pieces are great condition in original parkerized finish (some has rubbed off near the gas block and is common with M1), and bore is in great shape with nice rifling given its age.
Barrel installation and headspacing has been professionally done by an M1 Garand specialist.
This rifle has lots of character and history. This original caliber packs a punch.
