Winchester model 1895

Winchester model 1895 chambered in 30-40 krag.

I received this firearm in a trade from a good friend of mine whose father had for many years. I’m not familiar with these models so I apologize for the lack of information I know.

Rifle looks to be well maintained. I did give it a light service before storing and have shot a few rounds through it. Unfortunately due to the Quebec registry, the firearm does have a UFAN scribed on the side of the magazine. The front sight looks to be repaired somewhat poorly (as seen in photos).

As much as i’d like to keep the rifle, looking to fund other projects.
