The Browning BBR is a bolt-action rifle that was produced by Miroku in Japan from 1978 to 1984. Its a Centerfire, repeating, breech-loading rifle. Features Nine-lug bolt, aluminum shroud, sliding tang safety catch, free-floating barrel, three-round box magazine. These were made as a direct competitor to Weatherby mark V without the huge price, the bolt was so close to Weatherby's action that they told Browning if they didn't stop making them, they were going to sue them for patten infringement. Hence the reason for it being Discontinued in 1984 and replaced by the A-Bolt line of rifles.
The gun stock on this rifle is unique. Its a Jack Shepard stock, a very well known artist that was renown for building out amazing gun stocks here on Vancouver Island. This rifle could be considered a collectors piece.
