Looking to sell a well-used T81 side folder, since i already have a T-81M and T-81 SR, so looking to free up some space. SPF
Comes with ONE magazine and it's M-lok handguard from TI.
It's a little beat up and has a bunch of quirks to it, since i actually never intended to sell it off initially before the T81M came around.
I'd say it has about 800-900 rounds since which isn't a lot, but also has been used in the brush and hunting and has a bit of history. So i'll detail it right now;
It has a Low-profile M-LOK handguard on it from Tactical Imports (and will come with it), however, it's secured with a random bolt that i was able to thread into it since i lost the original wood handguard along with it's screw. It's ugly, but it works.
It's perfectly secure and has never budged on me, but ya know... Before that, it had one of those cheap Zhukov handguard, but i had to remove the front sling and beat up the original factory handguard retainer to fit the aluminium chassis for it. The damage isn't visible with the current handguard tho and doesn't impact it's reliability at all.
The grenade launching device has a bunch of dings and vice grip marks. That's because i spent a lot of time and effort trying to remove it to lighten up the front, and failed to do anything but put a bunch of damage on it instead. The barrel itself is perfectly intact mind you, but again, it has quite a few marks.
The front sight protective post is a little bent, courtesy of yours truly when i slipped during a wood walk and slammed the front of the rifle on a rock. I bent it back into place and you can see through it just fine, but you can clearly see it sitting lower than usual. Ah, and the rear sight originally had a "closed" loop, but was made open by the previous owner, making it exactly the same as a T-81M rear sight.
Finally, the pistol grip was painted black by the previous owner and is a little wobbly; never fixed that because the screw for it is stuck like a mf and i'm not willing to risk stripping it. Oh and there is a wood cheek piece on the side folding stock usually; it's not present on this particular rifle since it was removed by the original owner i bought it from. Doesn't matter either way, you can shoulder the rifle comfortably without it.
Mechanically, the rifle is A1. Clean and crisp barrel, all of the working bits are in excellent condition, no rust anywhere. Shoots accurately and without ever failling.
Open to trades, but really looking to free up space
