Hakim was designed in Sweden by the same guys who made Ljungman Ag m/42. Actual manufacturing was done in Egypt, Maadi factory, the same one that also made AKs. Fires 7.92x57 mm Mauser cartridge, semi-auto. Most likely was used in the Suez crisis!
I invested at least $500 in repairing this rifle, don't low-ball me.
Had to cut down the barrel, now it measures 18.7". OAL 43". Barrel & stock were done by Vulcan Gun near Windsor, check their reviews and Youtube channel. Comes with one magazine pinned to 5. She's loud, you'll have everyone's attention at the range.
Bore is 90%+. Stock is ~90%. Action is 90%+. Cycles good. Cleaned her meticulously every time after the range.
Issues: the front sight blade was filed down by one of the previous owners, there is a visible splice line on the handguard front. Haven't had any issues with FMJs. Soft-points produce occasional failure to feed.
Local sale preferred in Windsor-Chatham area, cash preferred. For a local sale, I also have soft-point 8mm ammo. Feel free to ask for more pictures!
