Selling my 12 ga Luigi Franchi 48/AL Semi Auto Shotgun, chambered for 2 3/4" shells.
This gun is the Italian twin to the Browning Auto-5, using the same long recoil spring but with an aluminum receiver for weight reduction and a chromed barrel allowing it to use steel shot. This makes this gun the perfect uplanding gun.
Comes with 2 barrels, the original fixed full choke barrel, and another barrel with a Deluxe vented Poly-choke with gold lettering. This choke allows the shooter to change from their choke from Cylinder, IC, Mod, IM, Full, XFull on the fly without having to fumble with choke tubes. A new main recoil spring and firing pin spring, old ones worked fine but after buying the gun, I called Stoeger and bought the recommended parts.
This gun is in great shape for being 60 years old but is by no means a safe queen. Some surface scratches on the receiver and bluing wear on the barrels due to it being free-floating. I have shot over 200 round through this gun and it has never let me down.
