Nice nickel, good mechanics, strong springs, fine grips. 

.442 Webley caliber by design, but will accept a .44 Russian cartridge . 

All matching numbers on every part except the hammer which has none I can see. Screw heads with nearly perfect slots all match as well. Most of the original finish is present with lighter areas on the barrel.

This is an excellent very good condition antique 44 Russian No.3 smith and Wesson revolver. Comes with reloading die set, bullet mold, brass and lead bullets. No PAL required to own. Works very well. Cylinder rotates freely when hammer is down.

Locks up nicely, still shootable. Made in 1877
