  My first Garand has a SIAU  MP marked barrel, searching the name showing Italian origin, should be subcontractor for Beretta. 

MP stands for Magnafluxed and Proofed. Appears to be chrome lined.

 Comes with an original scope and barrel and a green leather M1 sling also, black padded Springfield armoury range bag. Everything functions as it should. Stock has the odd bump and bruise to be expected.
