This is a very interesting New Zealand Lee Metford rifle. Built in 1893, replaced to heavy target shooting barrel. Comes with Parker 9G fully adjustable peep sight. Forend wood shortened for couple inches adjusting to new barrel length.

All matching 1917 Lithgow No1 Mk3 in original stock with all matching Serial numbers (except mag).
Stock is banged up but it was used through 2 wars and maybe a bit after as well. Beautiful coloring & patina.

Just in time for Christmas ! Here is an Overall, good condition Serial number matches rear sight only But not bolt. 
Wood shows scratches, scuffs, dents, cracks in rear of stock.

The top aft hand guard looks to be little lighter then the rest the wood maybe replaced,maybe not no idea.

Bore looks great , I call it next to new looking.

Matching bolt, receiver and sight, in G - VG condition. The volley sights have been removed. The bore is 8 - 8.5, a good shooter.

Sport version of a military rifle, that's what this rifle is. Fitted with a monte carlo stock , an embellished forearm and nice metal bluing. Magazine is detachable and action is very reliable. 

LSA Long Lee Sporter Project. An MLE Mark 1*.  The good news is that all numbers are matching (3009), including the rear sight.

1942 Long Branch No.4 Mk1* in Long Branch Birch furniture with an LB marked Mk1 sight. Every part is correct Long Branch production.   The rifle has a wartime 2 groove barrel shiny with no pitting.
