Remington New Model Police in 38 Rimfire, 4.5" barrel, 5 shot. 18,000 were produced between 1863-1888 in 36 Percussion, some were factory converted to 38 Rimfire. These police 38 RF examples are very well built compact revolvers.

Excellent action and lock up. Nickel finish is about 95% with a bit of flaking in the hollows of the fluting. Bore has rifling with pitting along its length. Grips have original varnish with a few small dents but without chips or flaking.

Howdy Gunpost. I've got another pocket gun for you here and it's a Remington. It's a well used example but is mechanically excellent. The indexing and lockup are great and this little old girl could still sling lead if she wanted to.
