This is an Antique Harpers Ferry U.S. Model 1842 Smoothbore Percussion Musket. The overall length is 57-3/4” with a 42” long barrel and coming in at just under 10 pounds. This is a .69 caliber musket.

Functions as it should. With strong lockup and good indexing all three clicks are present on cocking. Brown patina throughout the gun. Cylinder scene still visible but tough to see through the patina.

British war of 1812 er Brown Bess New Land 1805 pattern musket. Smooth bore, muzzle loading flintlock which was reliable and may have seen extensive action by British forces during the war of 1812.
