Hi, Posting this Nice Marlin 1895  .45-70 Govt  Comes with Original Box-Pinty 3-9X 40 EG  Illuminated Scope w/Rings/Rail and Hammer Extension -Red Head Sling , Cheek Pad /Shell Holder and a Bore Snake

This is Remington not Ruger manufactured. Approximately 5 years old and only 100 rounds fired. In very good shape and has a few  handling nicks on the stock and one mark on the barrel as seen in photos.

Marlin  1895 GS  cal 45-70 stainless steel, factory ported barrel, JM stamped  Iron sights and 2 piece Weaver bases.Rare model with ported barrel was only made for a few years...Very good condition. 

I've got a Marlin guide gun 1895 in 45-70 up for grabs.  

I bought it for bear defense when I was in the Yukon gold mining.  I don't do this anymore, and have no use for this gun.

Up for sale is my Remington made Marlin 1895GBL in 45-70 with upgraded XS Lever Rail and ghost ring sights. This rifle has taken large game in South Africa and has proven extremely reliable.
