Works like a regular grenade, pull the pin, release the lever and a pin pops the Cartridge filling the grenade housing with compressed air producing a VERY LOUD BANG 

ZERO FLAMES, SAFE FOR INDOOR USE. Obviously common sense is required and eye protection is needed.
