This is a classic Herter's Inc Waseca Minn. U.S.A. fishing/hunting/skinning fixed blade knife.

This dates from the 1940s/1950s.

It has a hardwood handle, is 8 1/4" in overall length with a 4" blade that has thumb grooves.

The leather sheath is original but has been decorated/reinforced at some point with rivets, the keeper strap is new.
