Matching Japanese Edo Long and Short Swords

This is a pair of Japanese swords, 29 inches and 39 inches. The long sword is signed on the tang, and the other is unsigned. They are unresearched but came with the certificates shown in the listing. I suspect the blades are older than the Edo period. Good quality fittings with gold embellishments. This is an impressive display set of original antique swords. These are not modern replicas.
