Remington 700 factory barrel in 308 Win

This is a 22” long Remington 700 takeoff barrel chambered in .308 Win, factory drilled and tapped for iron sights at approximately 5 1/8" and 20 5/8" from the chamber end. The nominal shank diameter is 1.06” to the outside of the threads (at 16 threads per inch), and the shank depth is 0.875”.

If the ad is up, the barrel is available.

The chamber appears excellent. The bore & rifling are sharp and mirror bright. The crown and the muzzle end retain 100% of their factory applied bluing, suggesting that this barrel has seen little to no prior use. Note that the bare metal appearance of the muzzle in the photograph is due to the use of flash photography. The overall polished and blued finish of the barrel is very good.

A three day examination period is offered. Should the item fail to meet your expectations, the purchase price will be cheerfully refunded upon my receipt of the undamaged item.
