This is a Webley Mark 1 revolver with papers, leather holster, moon clip, and silver coin. Selling because I have too many. If you don't want the holster, drop $45 off asking price.

These were introduced in 1887 and this one was used by the British Navy as stamped on the grip strap, possibly in Zulu wars, Boer War, even up into World War 1. This is a reliable single and double action top break revolver, originally chambered in .455 webley but since modified to shoot .45 auto rim or 45 acp with a moon clip (it can still shoot .455 webley as long as you use a spacer). Antique suitable ammo can be purchased easily online or from rusty wood or last mountain reloading.

The mechanics are fair. Indexing and timing is good, top break is smooth, firing spring is strong, and ejection works all properly. There is less than 1 mm of wiggle at lockup which is nice.

Serials match 238xx. It has custom red grained hardwood grips which feel great in the hand and make shooting fun. The surface has an even "patina" testament to 130 years on this planet. Rifling is strong with scattered pitting.

I can ship anywhere or meetup local.

18+, no PAL, comes with antique papers.

I make no claims about safety of shooting ANY antique. Check with a gunsmith!
