Howdy Gunpost! I've got something really special for you here. This is a rare bird that is something that you just don't encounter at your local hockey rink venue community Gunshow. This is a museum worthy item and among the rarest and most collectible Nagants out there.
This revolver is 1/190-210 Luxembourg contract guns. It's been around for 140 years and survived 2 world wars and a trip across the Atlantic and the Continental USA to Alberta. If this Nagant could talk it would tell the most amazing stories.
The Revolver is a DA/SA in the 9.4mm Dutch chamberring. Brass can be made from .41 Remington Magnum cases (I have some brass if you're interested). It features a long 160mm or 6.3in barrel. The bore is bright, shiny and sharp. The bore is frankly like new. The mechanics are also like new. The tolerances on the revolver are quite tight and a notch above a lot of firearms made even today. The finish is worn and fading in spots and the are scratch marks on the cylinder from a wire brush. There's a few small pits in a couple of places and some nicks at the front of the water table. There is still strong bluing in some sections and case hardening on many of the parts. The wooden grips are in excellent condition.
To see a more indepth view of things and the mechanics watch my embedded youtube video on it.
