Antique Status with RCMP papers. No pal to own, no transfer. SA & DA design. Nickel is aprox 90-97%. Indexs and locks up in SA & DA. Failure to cock the hammer in DA, not sure why exactly, sear or lifter related, had it partially apart to inspect and investigate. The trigger guard, side plate and most things will come out. Excellent cosmetically and very good mechanically. Slight fault in DA operation. 6 photos and 4 vids is enough info to make a decision. Watch all 4 videos of this gun on my ytube channel. Tested with primers above. When you use primers/ powder & lead expect 750-975 fps.

Bore is well rifled and excellent considering its an antique and a black powder era gun. Chambers are excellent too.

Thick chamber walls (2.5-3mm thick) Easily could use hot loads ramset level 3/4 or maybe even smokeless such as unique or bullseye or trail boss. 3-4x thicker CHAMBER WALLS than an average 32rimfire. These retail $1200-2000 when perfect. It is NOT perfect obviously. I have fired the firearm and cleaned the chambers and bore. Typical 32rfs are Triple 7, Pyrodex or Black powder only.
Cyl rod will need mapp gas torch to heat it up to loosten crud on it. Boiling it.at 250 deg for 35 mins did fuck all, still stuck. Mechanical force will damage or marr the rod. Cyl rod rotates and is stuck inside the cylinder. This could of been a fix for a different issue decades ago no idea. Obvious chip to right grip, use epoxy and black ink/ dye or melt zipties into it until its level then heat it up and smooth it over. Stinks like shit fyi melting rubber/ plastic/ gutta percha.
