Up for sale is a 2nd Model Colt Dragoon. This serial number dates back to 1851.
A fairly uncommon antique in Canada, this gun is in good overall shape with some pitting and signs of wear and tear over the years. Near the hammer, a small, thin piece of the back strap has broken off near the screw. Cylinder does have some pitting on one side, but the cylinder scene is still around 50% visible. Pitting as well as in the cylinder chambers. Timing and lockup are decent.
Nearly all main parts are original to this gun including the grips, frame, grip frame, backstrap, and cylinder. The barrel I believe is a more "modern" replacement. The ramrod is original though! Frame serial also worn, but visible on the yoke.
With this listing I will include a holster, as well as a new (used) hammer. The hammer will require fitting in order to be used if desired.
