Iver Johnson .44 British bulldog

Antique status I&J British Bulldog. .44bulldog cal (will chamber .44 Russian brass) 

The I&J British bulldog predates their far more common and popular American bulldog. The primary difference being handle shape and barrel being a cast part of the frame. Opposed to the American bulldog octagonal threaded barrel. 
Mechanically this is a good example of the style. Works in both single and double action, there is a little play on lockup but that is inherent to the design. The bore is worn, and the finish is rough, but there’s no tool marks on the scrws or pins, no major corrosion or pitting and the Bakelite handles are near perfect. 

Antique status means no rcmp transfer or registration is required. This pistol can be carried and fired anywhere it is legal to use a non-restricted.
