One model 95 Remington derringer with a shiny new polish and some collected antique goodies in an old wooden box. Inside the lid are an antique fan, some photos, a cameo brooch and a newspaper clipping from 1882 after the Mississippi riverboat Robert E. Lee was burned.
The box also contains a deed to land in Noxubee county Mississippi, an old French prayer book and rosary, old clay poker chips, a cheater's sleeve clip, some coins correct to the period and a poker hand of antique cards without indices, four of a kind, king high.
The pistol works like it's supposed to, with a bit of play in the barrel to frame. This movement disappears when there are cartridges in the chambers.
The gun all by itself is worth the asking price. The box is a bonus.
Genuine antiques for a southern lady of the evening.
