This is one of the best condition milsurp / antique guns I ever have. It’s French Chamelot-Delvigne MAS 1873 made by St Etienne. Caliber 11mm, original not converted. MFD 1877 so antique status. Metal is in white with light grey oxidize coat. Absolutely no rust or pitting. Serial numbers I can find are all matching include screws, factory stamps and markings are clear and sharp. Everything looks so new barely used. Wood grips are excellent as well, no crack or chips. Mechanically works very well, timing and index good. I haven’t shot it myself since the bore looks new as well. I have been told it can fire .455 ammo but never tried. A piece of history and art craft from almost 150 years ago.
