This is a Remington Navy Model of 1870 Rolling Block Pistol converted into a carbine , Work was done by unknown gunsmith .
This carbine was built on the strongest Antique status pistol frames available in Canada .
Chambered in .25-10 Halsted AKA .25 Stevens centerfire (.25 Stevens should work as well ?)I have not used it .
this carbine could be rechambered to lots of calibures as it is very strong and could handle anything as long as the loads are BP or equivalent. (Ron Smith) said He would rechamber it to 38 spechal no problem .
barrel is like new and should be a tack driver .
rear sight is custom and front sight is Lyman
