Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver in 31 Percussion caliber. 4" barrel, 6 shot. Manufactured in 1864, during the American Civil War! Serial numbers match on frame, barrel, back strap, trigger guard, arbor and cylinder, arbor pin does not match. Cylinder nipples are in good shape and all clear. The action on this piece functions well. Half and full cock work well. Timing and lockup are good. Finish is worn. Factory applied Stagecoach robbery engraved cylinder scene is visible. Original grips show wear but nothing concerning. Bore shows common wear. Comes with a nice older leather holster. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own.
