Colt 1860 Army Revolver, 1862 Production, Civil War

Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver in 44 Percussion caliber, 8" barrel, 6 shot. Manufactured in 1862, in the early years of the American Civil War! The Colt 1860 was the most used/seen sidearm on Civil War battlefields! All serial numbers match with the exception of the arbor pin. Half and full cock work well. Timing and lockup are good. One cylinder nipple is a modern replacement, all nipples in decent shape and clear. Original grips show heavy use/dings etc. Bore shows wear/pitting. Loading lever has side to side movement when in the catch position but stays stowed properly. If only this Colt could talk of its War time exploits!
