Colt Model 1889 Navy Revolver in 41 Long Colt, 4.5" barrel, 6 shot. Manufactured in 1891. These double action Colts have a very modern look and are one of the more desirable antique status revolvers available in Canada. Single and double action work ok on this piece with occasional failure to rotate. Timing is good, lockup has about 3 mm of movement. Bore and cylinder walls show wear/corrosion. Grips are in decent shape, right panel has a chip missing at the bottom. Cylinder can freewheel left and right. If you need brass, lead or dies please inquire. Not the prettiest example, but a desirable model. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own.
