French 1873 Revolver, 45/455, Antique

French Model 1873 Service Revolver, manufactured in 1875, 4.5" barrel, 6 shot. These 1873's had a long service history up to and including WW2 French resistance usage. Many of these French 1873's had their cylinders lightly machined to accept 45ACP handloads and 455 Webley as original 11mm ammo was unobtainable, this is one such example. This revolver accepts 45ACP handloads and 455 Webley, all French 1873's in original 11mm, 45 and 455 are deemed antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. The action on this piece functions excellent in single and double action. Half and full cock are present and work great. Timing and lockup are good. Exterior is in the white as it came from factory, their is staining. The trigger and hammer retain traces of their original yellow straw finish. Original grips show well and are free of cracks, lanyard ring is intact. All serial numbers match.
