French Model 1873 Service Revolver. 4.5" barrel, 6 shot, manufactured in 1876. Chambered to accept 45ACP handloads and 455 Webley. All French 1873's in original 11mm, 45 or 455 are classed antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. The action on this piece functions excellent in single and double action. Timing and lockup are great, lockup is tighter/nicer than often encountered on an antique revolver. Original grips are in good shape, lanyard ring is intact. Exterior is in the white as it came from factory. The loading gate is blued and has a non matching SN. Bore and cylinder walls rate very good and show nice. Overall a great solid example of a French 1873 Revolver! Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own.
