Italian Bodeo Officer's Revolver in 10.4mm. 4.5" barrel, 6 shot. Manufactured in 1894 by Gilsenti Brescia. 44 Russian brass is usually used as the go to option for trimming/handloads. The regular enlisted man version had a folding trigger with no trigger guard whereas the officers model had a fixed trigger and trigger guard. Many of these Bodeos saw use in the Italian colonies in Africa as well as usage to to WW2. This example functions well in single and double action. Timing and lockup are good, has the common 1.5 mm or so movement in lockup which appears to be what they all have, no issue. Exterior finish is worn off, there's scattered pitting on exterior. Bore and cylinder walls rate good for the vintage with common wear/pitting. Original grips in fair shape, lanyard ring is intact. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. $1795 includes Free Shipping, insurance extra if desired.
