Italian Bodeo Revolver, 1897 Production

Italian Model 1889 Bodeo Revolver in 10.6mm caliber, 4.5" barrel, 6 shot. Most use readily available trimmed 44 Russian brass for loading, or if one wants to use full length 44 brass just need the chambers lightly reamed. Manufactured by Gilsenti Brescia in the last antique eligible year 1897! The Italian 1889 is unique in that it utilized a flip down trigger. The trigger can be stowed up and upon hammer pull will automatically drop into the ready position. Single and double action work well on this piece. Timing and lockup are good, common slight movement in lockup. Bore and cylinder walls show age related rust/wear. Original grips in good shape, lanyard ring is intact. Exterior finish is worn.
