Very Rare London Pistol Company Pocket Model produced by Manhattan Firearms. 4" barrel, 5 shot, 31 Percussion caliber. Serial numbers range from 1-2000. Produced between 1858-1861, right around the start of the American Civil War! Most of these pocket 31 revolvers were private purchased at the time by family members for loved ones going into combat as a back up carry piece. Cylinder retains a strong original Stagecoach hold up scene. Exterior frame also has factory engraving. Would have been a somewhat clone of the Colt 1849 pocket revolvers. Half and full cock work well. Needs a hand spring as action only cycles if pointed down. Timing and lockup are good. Bore rates good for a Civil War era revolver. Cylinder nipples in fair shape and all clear. Original grips are in good. Trigger guard has side to side movement. Arbor pin screw is non original and doesn't screw in all the way. Definitely a seldom seen model, if only it could talk! Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. $1150 includes Free Shipping. If you have any questions or need more pictures or video please feel free to ask.
