Remington New Model Army in 44 Percussion. These Remingtons were the second most seen revolver on American Civil War battlefields! If only this revolver could talk! 8" barrel, 6 shot. All 3 hammer clicks are present. Timing is good as long as you cock the hammer fairly quick, if you pull hammer slow it under times just a tad, lockup is good. Bore shows expected common wear for a percussion revolver. Original grips show wear/dings, small chip at bottom of right grip panel, military inspector cartouche is visible on left panel. Cylinder nipples appear in good shape, all are clear. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own.
