Rogers & Spencer Army Revolver in 44 Percussion Caliber. 7.5" barrel. These are rare American Civil War Era revolvers manufactured for the US government in 1865 with only 5800 produced as the war wrapped up in 1865. Action functions very well with good timing and lockup. Half and full cock work well. Bore has pitting/wear. Cylinder nipples are in good shape and clear. The loading lever appears to be likely more modern than gun and lever catch needs to be attached to underside of barrel. Original grips are worn but retain the RPB military cartouche. Front sight is missing. There is what appears to be a faint crack by the right side frame, appears stable. Many companies such as Pedersoli, Navy Arms etc have manufactured modern examples of this revolver, making parts sourcing easier if needed. These rare Rogers & Spencer revolvers are desirable in any condition. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. $1295 includes Free Shipping. If you have any questions or need more pictures or video please feel free to ask.
